Welcome everyone

I have completely lost the creative side of myself to the expectation that everything I do needs to somehow be appealing to platforms like Instagram and by extension, appealing to an audience that I don’t even know.

So I was hoping that this could be a place for me to enjoy making things and documenting the process without enslaving myself to an algorithm and likes. I am not particularly motivated by exposure or likes, but when I post on Instagram some part of me is consumed by the anxiety of being seen by others (god forbid people I know in real life) but I love being able to see all the things I have made in one place. I feel like it would be so fun to have a little internet capsule that does not belong to anyone other than me.

I just want to enjoy being creative, but not by playing by anyone else’s rules. I don’t want to see a follower count, or “viral sounds” or internet trends. I just want to be left to my own devices and do what I want.
